The Queen rewarded him handsomely, and that reward financed the construction of Thistle Hold. The Queen rewarded him with lordship over Thistle Hold and ducal authority within its walls. He commands a Town Watch of one hundred fifty men. His word is law in the frontier town.

The Queen's Legate in Thistle Hold Description: Korinthia's official representative at the frontier. She operates from the Queen's Legation, where Explorer's Licenses are issued and the Crown's interests are administered. Her assistant is Akman of Kohinoor (also known as Dekamedo).

Treasure hunter, notable resident Description: Famous for making his fortune in a single desperate visit to the ruin of Odaban — one of the few to enter a major Davokar ruin and emerge not only alive but wealthy. Skilled warrior, veteran of the Great War Description: A noble warrior and trouble-maker who has settled in Thistle Hold. His battlefield experience from the Great War makes him formidable, and his tendency to cause problems makes him memorable.
